Getting started
From first phone call to first adventure, here is exactly what happens. Fair warning: intake does involve a few detailed forms up front. We front-load the paperwork once, so everything after it is about the adventure, not the admin.
Call, email or use the contact form. We will chat about the participant, their goals, and what you are looking for.
Create an account in the client portal and work through the intake forms. They are detailed for a reason: they give us a clear picture of the participant before we meet.
A relaxed first meeting to see if we are the right fit, shaped by what you shared at intake. No commitment.
Together we design supports around the participant's plan goals. Sessions begin, and we can provide reports for plan reviews and the support team.
Funding
SNDY Tracks supports self managed and plan managed NDIS participants. Because we are not an NDIS registered provider, agency managed plans cannot access our supports under NDIS rules. Supports are billed in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
| Support | Funding category |
|---|---|
| Adventure-based Counselling | Therapeutic supports (Capacity Building) |
| Life Skills Facilitation | Capacity Building |
| Adventure Respite | Short Term Accommodation and Assistance (STA) |
Not sure how your plan is managed, or where these supports fit? Ask us. It is a five minute conversation, and we would rather sort it early.
You do not need an NDIS plan to work with us. Families funding privately are welcome, and so are referrals funded by agencies and other organisations, invoiced directly to the funding body. Reach out and we will set up the arrangement that fits.
Common questions
No. Most participants access supports through the NDIS, but self funded clients and organisation funded referrals are just as welcome. Tell us your situation and we will sort out the arrangement that fits.
A typical session runs around three hours, one on one, at a Central Coast location chosen with the participant: a creek, a beach, a bush trail. In counselling, one hour of targeted therapy is woven into the adventure. In life skills, coaching happens naturally throughout. Participants choose activities that spark their interest.
Within about 30 minutes of Tuggerah, NSW. That covers a lot of good country: beaches, creeks, lakes, bush reserves and lookouts across the Central Coast.
Every activity and location has its own risk assessment covering the participant's needs, weather, supervision, equipment and emergency access. We operate on a Challenge by Choice model: participants set their own limits, always. Details are on our Risk and Safety page.
No. Activities are chosen with the participant and adapted to them, not the other way around. A quiet park session counts just as much as a mountain bike trail.
Yes. Telehealth counselling is available by video call or phone where that suits the participant better.
We ask for two clear business days notice across all supports. The full policy is in your service agreement.
